Big Breakfast a ‘sure thing’ at Epsom & Lingfield this autumn

Back a winner when south London’s most successful business networking event gallops into the racing towns of Epsom and Lingfield this autumn.

The Big Breakfast sponsored by London Gatwick Airport and Coast to Capital LEP will be under starter’s orders at Epsom Downs Racecourse on October 11, and Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club on October 31.

Now in its 7th year, the free event regularly attracts over 100 business people to its usual venue at Ikea Croydon. And the first meeting of the new season will be hosted at Ikea Croydon, at 7am on Thursday, September 21.

The hugely popular speed networking initiative will start and finish slightly later than usual at both Lingfield Park and at Epsom Downs – where it will be supported by Surrey Chamber of Commerce – running from 7.30am until 10.30am.

Delegates keen to make new contacts and generate fresh leads, will enjoy a free, light breakfast and informal networking, before the one-two-one speed networking gets underway.

An enthusiastic crowd of Sussex and south London business people converged on the first of the new 2017 locations, the Hilton London Gatwick, in June.

Horsham business man David Fisher of NAC2000 said: “It was very good and full of energy and people with exciting ideas who want to do business. I’ve made some good contacts and will hopefully get some business out of it”

Malcolm Brabon, Head of Services from Coast to Capital LEP said he was delighted to see the Big Breakfast expand and provide businesses with this unique networking experience. He said: “The opportunities provided by linking up businesses in these strong economic areas are significant and illustrates the level of business that this initiative can help unlock.”
